She was the first artist to be signed by J. Cole to his record label Dreamville Records. In October 21st, 2016 she dropped Pho, her first EP for the Dreamville Records label. That was the day she gained her first recognition. Shea Butter Baby, her debut studio album was released May 7, 2019. Ari Lennox began posting her music to the internet in 2012 as she released her debut mixtape, Five Finger Discount and debut EP Ariography In 2013. In 2014, she continued to share her music over the internet, including her self release single Bound. The track Sweat it is part of Omen's Elephant Eyes album, which was released on July 21 2015. J.
