Anushka Sharma, she is a Bollywood actor and producer. She is amongst the highest-paid actresses and has won numerous accolades for her acting. Anushka Sharma's parents are Kumar Sharma and Ashima Sharma. Anushka was born to a colonel who retired. Her mother is also a housewife. Karnesh Singh, Anushka's brother and producer of films, served in the Merchant Navy. Anushka Sharma completed her schooling at the Army School, Bangalore and completed her Bachelor of Arts (B.A) from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. Anushka has a Masters in Arts Degree in the field of Economics. Anushka was hoping to be an actor or journalist rather than an actor. Her first appearance as a fashion model was in 2017, in which she was a model for Wendell Rodricks at Lakme Fashion Week after which she was picked by Rodricks for a role in his Spring Summer 2007 collection. The modeling career of Anushka began during Lakme Fashion Week in 2017. She has since done several campaigns, including campaigns in support of Fiat Palio & Fiat Whisper Nathella Jewelry. Anushka joined an acting class and began auditioning for movies alongside her modeling career. Anushka was first seen in an acting role by Shah Rukh Khan opposite Anushka. Anushka Sharma took one day to prepare for her test on screen and was unable to do an impractical version. Then she was cast in three movies for Yash Raj Films. In the movie, she was portrayed as a young lady who married a middle aged man (the role Shah Rukh Khan is playing). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka performed with Shahid Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Vir Das, and Meiyang Chang in the 2010 movie "Badmash Company". It was met with mixed receptions. Anushka Sharma starred in the movie 'Band Baaja Baaraat. She played a Punjabi woman of middle class who owns her own wedding business. The movie received a great reception and was later a sleeper. Anushka's contract for three films at Yash Raj Films ended with Band Baaja Baraat.
